Designed by photo imaging experts for candidates to demonstrate their competence at work, these NVQs cover important mandatory such as health and safety and knowledge of legistlation, that would be relevant to all relevant to all candidates working in the photo imaging industry.

Candidates can then choose which optional units are relevant to their specific job role such as:

• Those based upon organising and carrying out photographic assignments
• Taking portraits
• Presenting work to customers
• Developing a business website and/or undertaking freelance work.

There are six different awards available, across three levels, concentrating on all sectors within the photo imaging industry.

They are the only NVQs offered in the UK and also contribute towards the Modern Apprenticeship and the Advanced Mordern Apprenticeship programmes.

They are fully suported by Skillset, the Sector Skills Council for audio visual industries, and based upon their newly updated National Occupational Standards.
