City & Guilds are running the above event to provide centres with an understanding of our policy on e-portfolios, providing the opportunity to see a live demonstration of 'Learning Assistant' - one of the key e-portfolio products endorsed by City & Guilds. The event is aimed at quality managers, training managers, assessors and internal verifiers.

Level 3 Diploma in Advanced Professional Cookery

Qualification briefing
City & Guilds are running the above event to provide centres with an overview for the Professional Cookery qualification and a background to the development of the VRQ's in the qualification. We will also identify the assessment methods required and outline the centre approval requirements.
The event is aimed at heads of departments and lecturers of existing centres and training providers delivering the Professional Cookery level 3 Diploma in Advanced Professional Cookery from September 2010.

Introduction to Employability qualifications

This introductory event is aimed at those managing, delivering or co-ordinating employability or NEET programmes e.g. curriculum managers, programme managers, 14-16 or 14-19 co-ordinators and tutors. The event will introduce you to the qualifications. We'll discuss how they can be used to engage NEETs and others facing barriers to work, as well as people already in work but looking to enhance their employability. We'll look at how individual units are assessed and how evidence can be generated.

The events are aimed at existing centres and training providers who may already deliver one or both of our NVQs in Business and Administration and Customer Service and at new centres.
