Supporting Customer Excellence compromises of two elements:

Changes to the Walled Garden

Important changes are happening to the way you will use the Walled Garden for your quality assurance activities. 

This summer, the Walled Garden will have a new Quality portal which will allow you to complete and submit forms online.

What will the new Quality portal allow you to do?

When you start using the Quality portal on the Walled Garden you will be able to complete and submit the following online: 

  • Submit Qualification Approval Application (QAP) forms and review their progress
  • View details of your qualification approval status and allocated Consultants
  • View your past and future quality assurance activities, and review their progress
  • View Centre Activity Reports (CARs)
  • Submit visit planning (CA2) forms and view visit confirmation (PA1) forms
  • Submit Centre Update (CU) forms

Details of change and what you need to do during the interim stage

Until you have been given access to the new quality portal there will be a few changes to the way you receive forms from your qualification consultants or your managing office.

Qualification Approvals (QAPs)

  • Qualification Approval forms should still be completed electronically and emailed to your managing office to process
  • Your Qualification Consultant will complete the QAPV form and will email you a copy. The form will be in XPS format, readable with any PC with MS Office installed
  • You can download this form from our Application for Centres page

Centre Update Form 

  • Centre Update forms should still be completed electronically and emailed to your managing office to process
  • You can download this form from our Application for Centres page

Visit planning – CA1/2

  • You will receive a ‘Consultant Activity Confirmation (CA1)  email and Form from your managing office, asking you to complete an electronic version of the CA2 form
  • Download a blank CA2 form from our Application for Centres page, fill it in and email it to your managing office and your Qualification Consultant 
  • If you prefer, you can email a copy of your MIS database in lieu of completing the CA2 form.
Visit planning – PA1 form
  • Your Qualification Consultant will complete this and will email you a copy. The form will be in XPS format, readable with any PC with MS Office installed. 
Centre Activity Report (CAR) form 
  • Your Qualification Consultant will complete a CAR form during or once they have completed their visit or remote activity
  • Your Qualification Consultant will email you a copy of the report. The form will be in XPS format, readable with any PC with MS Office installed.

Trouble reading the forms?

We know that many of you have reported issues with the font size and colour of the forms and reports (CAR, QAPv, PA1 etc.) that you have received via email and so we have worked hard with our IT development team to rectify the issues.  

We have implemented improvements to the way forms will display for you on screen and when you print them. 
You will only receive these forms via email during the interim phase.
