Working in the legal service requires a diverse range of skills, knowledge and education. This qualification will help you to build on your existing experience to move forward in your career - developing your specialised skills, or progressing on to further qualifications.
This qualification is aimed at learners who would like to work in legal administration, but not necessarily as a legal secretary, or those already working as a legal administrator who would like to further develop their professional skills.

What Is Involved In Studying This Course?

You'll cover things like:

  • Understanding the legal environment
  • Managing information and producing documentation.

You will learn in the classroom and be assessed via a multiple-choice examination or an assignment.

What Is Involved With Delivering This Course?

To deliver these qualifications you will need qualified assessors - you can train internal members of staff or recruit specially.

You will also need suitable facilities to carry out the required training to enable learners to achieve industry standards.

  • Principles of personal responsibilities and working in a business environment
  • Principles of providing administrative services
  • Principles of managing information and producing documents 
  • The legal environment.
