General Information

What Is Involved In Studying This Course?

You can choose the qualification that demonstrates the specialist sales knowledge and techniques you have developed such as:

  • time planning
  • selling face to face
  • buyer behaviour
  • decision making.

You will learn on the job in the work environment.

Assessment will also take place in the workplace and will include a portfolio of evidence to meet the criteria of the qualification.

Which level is right for me?

Level 2
Ideal for you if you are moving up the career ladder or looking to develop some specialist skills such as understanding buyer behaviour or face to face selling.

Level 3

You're progressing in your career and have significant knowledge and experience. At this level you are required to demonstrate greater autonomy in completing tasks, organising activities and contributing to decision making.

What Is Involved With Delivering This Course?

To deliver these qualifications you will need qualified assessors - you can train internal members of staff or recruit specially.

You will also need suitable facilities to carry out the required training to enable learners to achieve industry standards.

Centres currently offering the 6770 NVQs in Sales and Telesales have automatic approval to offer these qualifications.

Level 2

This level is ideal if you are moving up the career ladder or looking to develop some specialist skills such as understanding buyer behaviour or face-to-face selling.

There are two qualifications available:

  • Level 2 Certificate in Sales
  • Level 2 Diploma in Sales.

Each of these qualifications comprises both mandatory and optional units covering areas such as:

  • Face-to-face selling
  • Buyer behaviour.
