These Technical Awards help ambitious 14-16 year olds who want to experience vocational education alongside traditional GCSEs. They equip learners with applied knowledge and practical skills without limiting their progression opportunities post 16.

Advanced Level 3 Technical Certificates, Diplomas and Extended Diplomas, Key Stage 5 – DfE Approved ✔
These Advanced Technical qualifications help ambitious 16-19 year olds who want to progress into employment or higher education. They will develop technical and professional skills as well as the wider professional, employability and transferable skills employers demand.
These qualifications will be available for teaching from September 2016, which are DfE approved, and will carry UCAS points to support progress to University (we are awaiting confirmation for the 450GLH Advanced Technical Diploma but fully expect this to carry UCAS points too). They can be delivered stand alone or as part of the City & Guilds TechBac
