What Is Involved In Studying This Course?

These qualifications help develop English-language listening, reading and learning skills in young learners and cover child-friendly topics such as school life, sports, hobbies, pets, fairy tales and science fiction. The focus is primarily on communicative skills rather than vocabulary range or grammar.

You will learn in the classroom and be assessed using a paper-based test covering listening, speaking and writing.

Which level is right for me?

Entry Level 1
Basic
Broadly comparable to A1 level on the Common European Framework and ideal for those new to learning English.

Entry Level 2
Elementary
This is comparable to A2 level on the Common European Framework and is ideal for those who have a limited range of language sufficient for simple, practical needs.

What Careers Can This Lead To?

These qualifications provide the necessary basics in English language giving the learner confidence and the desire to further their English language skills. Learners may consider taking further, more advanced, qualifications after completing these qualifications.

What Is Involved With Delivering This Course?

You will need suitably qualified staff to carry out training and facilities to organise and run an examination.

The examinations are on demand, with no set exam dates. The examinations are assessed in London by professional trained markers who focus on the success of transferring a communicated message.

Entry 1

This level is basic, broadly comparable to A1 level on the Common European Framework and ideal for those new to learning English.

Topics covered are designed to be child-friendly and include sports and games, animals and pets, parties and monsters.

What Careers Can This Lead To?

These qualifications provide the necessary basics in English language, giving the learner confidence to further their English language skills. Learners may consider progressing onto Entry Level 2 after completing Entry Level 1.
