What Is Involved In Studying This Course?
The qualifications contain the knowledge and practical skills for ‘doing the job’ in a competent way.

What Careers Can This Lead To?
The Level 2 Certificates of Technical Competence in Horticulture related subjects could lead to the following employment opportunities: 
  • Assistant gardener
  • Assistant landscape operative
  • Trainee horticulture operative
What Is Involved With Delivering This Course?

Alongside the Technicals for 16 to 18 year olds:

  • These may delivered alongside Technicals for those learners who wish to gain extra certification against the practical skills and competencies that employers want to see
  • Much of the content is embedded within relevant units within the Technicals

Stand-alone/ full cost recovery or adult learners or other markets: 

  • The Guided Learning Hours are approximately 10 to 12 hours, so this could be delivered over 2 days with an assessment at the end, or on a separate day.
