These qualifications are designed to provide competence in the use of new engineering technology in conventional manufacturing, servicing or related activities, part programming, computer-aided draughting, robotics and programmable logic controllers, advanced part programming and computer-aided design.
Computer-Aided Engineering is for people performing technical support activities in an engineering environment - usually people with a high level of technical skill.

What Is Involved In Studying This Course?

To get a Vocationally Related Qualification (VRQ) you learn with your training provider - maybe through practical sessions, group discussions or assignments.

VRQs are usually assessed by your training provider using assignments, practical tasks, exams or online tests.

Which level is right for me?

Part 1
Provides a basic introduction to CNC, CAD, Robotics and PLC.

Part 2

Part 2 covers part programming, computer-aided draughting, robotics and programmable logic controllers.

Part 3

Part 3 includes advanced part programming and computer-aided design.

What Is Involved With Delivering This Course?
