The qualifications have been designed with Government policy in mind to understand the legislation around carbon emissions and energy consumption today.
The units within this qualification are inclusive to people from all industries as the skills are universal across the board.
The qualifications look at areas such as:
- international climate regulation
- climate change impact
- carbon taxation
- energy management tools
- supply chain carbon emissions.
For a Carbon Management qualification, you'll usually learn in a group with your training provider. Or, you may have the option to learn on your own via correspondence.
For full details on how you will be assessed, download the course handbooks from the centre documents section.
Which level is right for me?
Level 2 is ideal if you have a direct day-to-day operational role in reducing your organisation's carbon levels and improving energy efficiency as part of a wider corporate strategy.
Level 3 is complementary to many industry jobs, particularly, but not exclusively, within manufacturing, processing, transport, and engineering. Anyone part of an organisational shift towards better carbon management would find this qualification useful.
