Staff delivering this qualification must be able to demonstrate that they are:
- Technically competent in the areas for which they are delivering training and/or have experience of providing training. This knowledge must be at least to the same level as the training being delivered.
- Have recent relevant experience in the specific area they will be assessing.
- Have credible experience of providing training.
Delivery of the qualification will take place on-the-job and taught units will be in a classroom environment.
Assessment is via externally set short answer question papers provided by City & Guilds.
Centres already approved to offer the Level 2 NVQ in Mail Services (1004-02) and/or Level 2 Award/Certificate/Diploma in Mail Services (6814-02) may apply for fast track approval. Download the form for fast-track approval from the centre documents section.
