Notice Processing (1916)

This is the first qualification of its kind and has been specifically developed for people currently working or looking for a career in an office based parking role.
The Award is ideal if you're new to parking industry. It's a great way to get up to speed and bring you up to date with the recent changes to the Traffic Management Act.

General Information

What Is Involved In Studying This Course?

You'll cover areas such as Information Management. You'll also have the option to choose either a Public Notice Processing route or a Private Notice Processing route, where you will look at both private or public processing requirements and penalty charges.

You'll learn with a training provider - usually through practical sessions in a group environment.

Your training provider will assess your progress using multiple-choice examinations, offered via online e-assessment.

You've worked in the industry for some time. You want to develop your knowledge of the sector further, to increase your employment opportunities and take on more responsibility.

What Careers Can This Lead To?

Once you have completed the qualification, you could progress into further training in supervisory or management roles.

What Is Involved With Delivering This Course?

To deliver these qualifications you will need suitably qualified staff to carry out training and assessment.

You will also need suitable facilities to carry out the required training to enable learners to achieve industry standards.

Learning is through practical sessions in a group environment.

You will assess learners using multiple-choice examinations, offered either online or as a traditional paper test.

In order to offer this qualification, organisations which are not already City & Guilds centres must apply for centre and qualification approval. Existing City & Guilds centres will only need to apply for qualification approval.

Level 3

This level is ideal if you've worked in the industry for some time. You want to develop your knowledge of the sector further, to increase your employment opportunities and take on more responsibility.

You will have the opportunity to choose either a Public Notice Processing route or a Private Notice Processing route.

To earn a qualification, you will complete both mandatory and optional units.
