City & Guilds and Microsoft have jointly developed a new route which enables you to follow a Microsoft Office Specialist course as part of an e-Quals programme.
This new route applies to the following units:

The assessment
-02 and -03 complexes
Candidates will need to complete both the IT Principles assignment and on-line test for this route.
-72 and -73 complexes
Candidates will only need to successfully complete the IT Principles assignment and the relevant Microsoft Office Specialist test.
