Legal Secretary

Are you interested in the law? Would you like to get involved in the daily work required to support lawyers, solicitors and barristers? Then why not think about becoming a legal secretary or paralegal?

You could work in the offices of law firms, in the legal departments of large organisations or in the law courts. There are often tight deadlines to meet and accuracy is extremely important. The work will involve legal research, administration and support work for the solicitors and lawyers and perhaps attending court or police stations.

Sounds exciting?

Well, if you want to get involved then you'll need the right qualifications. Who knows, once you've got some experience you could decide to qualify as a lawyer and it could be you asking the questions in court.
