ESOL - assessment arrangements for 2021

The final submission window for eligibility and TAG results for ESOL has now closed.

Please find key dates TAG results and results release below.

In line with government policy and Ofqual’s Vocational and technical qualifications contingency regulatory framework, COVID-19 Conditions and Requirements, from 1 September ESOL qualifications will be awarded as usual based on evidence from assessments. Assessments can be delivered face to face.

Results will not be awarded using Teacher Assessed Grades (TAGs).

Adaptations to ESOL assessments will remain available to assist in mitigating the ongoing impact of the pandemic where this is the case.
