Guidance and advice –
Covid-19
We appreciate that our centres will have queries or concerns as to how the current coronavirus outbreak will impact the delivery of City & Guilds and ILM qualifications, in particular upcoming exams and assessments.
City & Guilds and ILM are working closely with Ofqual, DFE, JCQ and other awarding organisations to monitor on an ongoing basis the coronavirus outbreak in the UK, and how to manage any particular risks to the delivery, taking and administering of our exams and assessments, with the outbreak of coronavirus.
Read our existing guidance: ‘Emergency Situations and Assessments’.
The current situation is fast moving and we will continue to review risks and to establish whether any additional contingency measures should be put in place for assessments and this year’s exam series in response to the outbreak of coronavirus. We will update this page and existing guidance to reflect any specific arrangements our centres should put in place if required.
For centres undertaking end-point assessment with City & Guilds and ILM, please read our advice regarding event scheduling.
