To deliver a Vocationally Related Qualification (VRQ) you'll need to provide your learners with a suitable learning environment and the resources they need to complete the practical and theoretical aspects of the qualification. You will need qualified internal assessors.
You need enough space to build a practical rig, and equipment to deliver practical training and assessment. You must provide all the necessary health and safety equipment.
Learners must be qualified electricians with an Electrotechnical Level 3 NVQ (or previous equivalent).
They should demonstrate they understand the latest wiring regulations, with a Certificate in the Requirements for Electrical Installations (2382) or an equivalent qualification.
We recommend they also have the Certificate in Inspection, Testing, Design and Certification of Electrical Installations (2391-01/10).
To find all the resource requirements, download the qualification handbook from the centre documents section.
