The end-point assessment must demonstrate that the apprentice can perform in the occupation in a fully competent, holistic and productive way.  The assessment will be graded pass, meritor distinction.

The end point assessment  consists of:

A multiple choice test (online) consisting of 60 multiple choice questions scenarios.
A portfolio of evidence
An observation of practice in the apprentice’s work setting
An interview

A sample test paper will be available and the password for this will be found on the Walled Garden.

A support pack is available to outline requirements of end point assessment and to help centres and employers to prepare their apprentices.

If the apprentice passes their assessment successfully, we’ll apply to the ESFA for the apprenticeship certification. The certificate will then be sent to the apprentice’s employer.  We also provide our own City of Guilds-branded statement of achievement.
