These qualifications are designed for learners who are working in the food and drink manufacturing sector. They offer learners the opportunity to develop skills and knowledge required to prove competence at work. They will also suit learners who are competent in their particular field but are looking for ways of developing their existing skills and knowledge.

What Is Involved In Studying This Course?
You will need to build up a portfolio of evidence of how you meet the standards set out in the qualification.  This qualification is all about performance evidence and you will be observed performing tasks in your job role and also be asked questions to ensure that you also understand the underpinning knowledge behind the activities which you perform.
What Careers Can This Lead To?

After successfully competing this qualification there are a wide variety of different positions within the food and drink industry which will be able to apply for.

What Is Involved With Delivering This Course?
This qualification is portfolio based and you will need to have qualified assessors who are also familiar with the occupational standards.  You will need to hold regular meetings with your learners in order to monitor their progress and assessor their competence against the units within the qualification.
