The qualifications cover industry-specific and supervisory and managerial knowledge and skills, such as:
- Leading a team
- Industry-specific health and safety legislation
- Planning, organising and evaluating active leisure services
- Supervising the maintenance of equipment and facilities in active leisure
- Addressing performance problems in your team.
You will learn in the classroom and/or on the job in the work environment.
Assessment methods include portfolio of evidence, coursework, e-assessment, multiple-choice examination, oral examination, practical demonstration and practical and written examination.

You are working in the leisure industry and have a great deal of technical skills and knowledge. You work with minimum supervision and have a good record of safety, fault correction and ensuring work meets the required standard.
