The Travel Consultant Level 3 apprenticeship is for learners who will specialise in either ‘corporate’ or ‘leisure’ travel.

Our apprenticeship offer provides all the materials and solutions you need to sustain flexible delivery models that are cost effective, time efficient and meet the learning styles of your apprentices. It helps motivate them to be successful, productive in their role and are fully prepared for end-point assessment.

Our high-quality, rigorous end-point assessment, can be delivered at a convenient time for your apprentice.
Travel consultants provide customer service that should be positive and exceed their client’s expectations. They deliver a range of often complex travel arrangements, including accommodation bookings and ancillary services to ensure the traveller benefits from the journey and time spent at the destination. Travel consultants specialise in either ‘corporate’ or ‘leisure’ travel, but either way, employers agree that their essential knowledge, skills and behaviours should be transferable across the industry.

The Travel Consultant Apprenticeship typically lasts 12 – 24 months.

We are not offering On-programme for this Apprenticeship.  

End-point assessment

Use product codes 9056-12 to order our EPA.

The assessment events include:

• 2-hour multiple choice e-volve test
• 1 to 2-hour structured meeting

At end-point assessment the apprentice must show they can perform in the occupation in a fully competent, holistic and productive way. All elements of the assessment are graded fail/pass/distinction. 

 When the apprentice passes their assessment successfully, we’ll apply to the ESFA for the apprenticeship certification. The certificate will then be sent to the apprentice’s employer. We also provide our own City of Guilds-branded statement of achievement.

1. If you’re an existing City & Guilds customer, go to Walled Garden and select the materials you need or register your apprentice for end-point assessment. (You may need to submit a request to deliver if you don’t yet have approval for that standard.)
2. Get in touch with directsales@cityandguilds.com. Our Direct Sales Team can explain our different products and services and start getting you set up as a customer or give existing customers support on the new apprenticeship arrangements.
3. Speak to your City & Guilds Business Manager about how to access our products or how to register your apprentices with us.
