Principal learning

City & Guilds principal learning qualifications are designed to meet the needs of today's employers.

They blend theoretical and applied learning in a work-related context allowing learners to move into further education or employment. They sit alongside GCSEs and A-levels and can be studied as either an alternative or in combination with them.

In addition to our principal learning qualifications we offer a wide range of funded vocational options for the 14-16 market.

There are over 100 qualifications of various sizes and levels to choose from. Each vocational programme offers engaging units that will inspire and motivate all learners.
