Technical Advisor for Coaching & Mentoring and Leadership & Management
Jill joined ILM as a Quality and Compliance Manager in 2013 after 5 years as an EQA for Leadership and Management qualifications. Her most recent role as ILM Specialist Technical Quality Manager for HEI and Coaching and Mentoring was to support HEI's and specialist Training Providers in the delivery and quality assurance of higher level ILM qualifications in Leadership and Management and Coaching and Mentoring including the L6 and 7 Degree Apprenticeships.
Prior to joining ILM Jill worked at Lancaster University for 13 years, as a programme manager, learning facilitator, MA supervisor, internal moderator, tutor, assessor and lead internal verifier. She was involved in the development, delivery, assessment and management of a range of Leadership and Management and Coaching and Mentoring programmes and qualifications for different sectors and at different levels.
Jill has previously worked in the third sector for a national charity, managing and training staff and volunteers to mentor and support members of the community who had been victims of crime and finally as County Development Manager leading the organisation restructure from 11 autonomous charities to a single county charity in 2000.

Karen Egan

Technical Advisor for Leadership & Management
Karen’s management roles have provided extensive experience in change management, culture change and people development which provided great grounding to move into Organisational Development. Here she gained experience of developing and implementing Leadership Development Frameworks including the design delivery and assessment of Leadership & Management and Coaching and Mentoring qualifications (ILM) which provides the experience and integrity to bring her into this Technical Advisor role.
Additionally as a qualified coach (ILM Level 7) Karen has been involved with 1:1 coaching for over 7 years and more recently peer coaching.
Her role is primarily a source of knowledge advice and support to training providers and employers on ILM’s products and services.
