Joining the UK national membership register

NRoSO landing image 1 With more than 20,000 members we are the UKs national body upholding the standards of sprayer operators.

The scheme is open to anybody who holds an appropriate certificate of competence qualification approved by the Chemical Regulations Directorate (CRD) for the safe application of pesticides.

Qualifying for membership renewal

NRoSO landing image 2Collect 30 or more Continuing Professional Development (CPD) points in each three-year period to qualify for membership renewal.

NRoSO landing image 3A wide range of CPD events and courses are approved for NRoSO members. Events and courses are publicised in the agricultural press, by colleges, and in local training providers’ newsletters.

Make sure you are up to date

NRoSO landing image 4Everyone who uses plant protection products authorised for professional use is required to hold a CRD recognised certificate of competence. (ATB Training Certificates and other evidence of training are not acceptable).

NRoSO landing image 7Attendees achieve 10 CPD points after successful completion of this NRoSO one-day event. A choice of dates will be available between November to May.

The NRoSO scheme ensures best practice and the safe application of Plant Protection Products. The scheme is managed and administered by City & Guilds.
