T Levels are a two-year post-GCSE option for young learners. These programmes, developed in collaboration with employers, are the new Gold Standard in technical qualifications.

What T Levels are available?

City & Guilds is delivering eight T Level pathway across four sectors including construction, engineering, business and land-based services:

Who can deliver T Levels?

From September 2024, all providers funded to offer classroom-based study programmes to 16-19 year olds will be able to deliver some or all T Levels. To be eligible to deliver T Levels from September 2024, you must have either submitted an expression of interest via the DfE or informed your DfE rep.

Once you have registered with the DfE you will be able to submit an application during our approval window. The approval window is now open and will remain open until Friday 28 June 2024. Guidance for providers and employers

This guidance outlines the key roles and responsibilities for providers and employers in delivering high-quality placements at each stage of the placement i.e., pre, during, and post-placement. It also sets out information about what must happen when students have been unable to complete the minimum placement hours before the end of the second year of the T Level programme.
