Who will be your People's Choice winner?

Celebrating amazing learners and tutors to recognise their achievement

29 May 2014 / Be the first to comment

When was the last time you got a metaphorical pat on the back from your colleagues or co-learners? And how did it make you feel?

The City & Guilds Medals for Excellence programme is a great way to celebrate what’s great about vocational education. And our annual red carpet Lion Awards ceremony recognises the best of the best, in 14 award categories.

This year 105 people have been awarded a Medal for Excellence. As well as being considered for a Lion Award, each medal winner enters our People's Choice award, in which their nominators, colleagues and friends can vote for them to receive special award at the Lion Awards.

The People’s Choice award is the only one voted for by the general public – it’s your chance to give learners and tutors you know that motivational pat on the back.

Read more about the awards and the medal winners on the Lion Awards website.

UPDATE: voting for the People's Choice award closed on Monday 19 May. We'll announce the winner at the red carpet awards ceremony on 6 June. Check this site for details about all of our winners.
