This year, the conference takes place at the East Midlands Conference Centre in Nottingham on 6 November 2012. It aims to provide a national perspective on the future of skills provision including functional skills, maths and English and ICT.

As well as gaining access to speeches, presentations and workshops from some of the country’s leading authorities in learning and skills, the event provides the perfect opportunity to network with other centres and share best practice.

City & Guilds will be delivering a workshop on our maths and English programmes, focusing on work-based learning and our upcoming maths and English qualifications, which are currently pending Ofqual approval.

Our expert qualification advisors will also be on hand at the event to answer any questions you may have about the skills landscape and how this impacts provision at your centre.

The conference is open to anyone involved in the delivery of skills improvement programmes including staff from colleges, employers, prisons and local authorities.

The standard delegate fee for the Skills Conference is £145; however all City & Guilds centres will receive a discounted rate of £95 per delegate.
