Browsers that work with the Walled Garden

  • If you are using Windows 2000/XP/Vista and above you will require Internet Explorer 6.0 or 7.0.
  • Firefox is supported for all versions up to 3.5.
  • If you are using MAC OS X you will require Firefox 1.5, 2.0 or 3.5. The Walled-Garden is not compatible with Internet Explorer 5.2.3 for Mac or with Apple's Safari web browser (all versions).
  • The Walled Garden is NOT compatible with Internet Explorer version 8, however, you can rectify any browsing errors on Walled Garden by switching your browser to Compatibility View. This means that your browser will recognise the best way to read the website you are visiting. To switch to Compatibility View, please go to your Tools menu in your internet browser, and choose Compatibility View. Instead of this option, there may be an icon of a page with a crack or jagged line through it, next to your address bar. Please click on this. If you need further assistance with making these changes, please contact a member of your IT department who will be able to assist you with the individual settings of your machine.
  • Not all functionality works on Google Chrome.

Can't log into Walled Garden

If you have received your 'Walled Garden user created' email or your 'Walled Garden password reset' email and you have entered your User ID and password to log in you will get one of the following messages:
  • Password has expired - this is correct and simply means that you are being prompted to change your password. Follow the instructions in the email sent to you and you will be able to log in from there.
  • Invalid login details - this means that either the user ID or password you have entered does not match the details on the email sent to you. Please carefully retype those details and you should get the message above.
  • Missing! - this issue is quick to resolve and simply means that we are still locked into your account. Please contact us by telephone or e-mail to remove this message.

If you've forgotten your password then you could use the self-serve password reset facility on the Walled Garden log in page titled 'Problems logging in?'

Note: a new account password is valid for 21 days and a reset password is valid for 21 days. Your chosen password will be valid for 90 days before you will be prompted to provide a new password for security reasons.

Useful tips

  • If you receive a message 'Invalid login details' or 'new password and confirm password do not match' please double check your entries and try again. Please ensure that you have not entered any extra spaces before or after your login details.
  • If you have recently changed your name, or changed your email, your new details may not be in the system. If this is the case, please contact our Customer Services team so we can amend your account and reset your password.
