PLEASE NOTE: The Level 2 NVQ Diploma in Formwork has recently been updated and as a result, a new QAN is available from 01 May 2018.  All documentation can be found under the documents section, and the old documents have been moved to the archived section. 
6580-02 Level 2 NVQ Diploma in Formwork (Construction) has been replaced with 6580-03 &-04.  The new qualification has 2 pathways: Formwork Carpenter (-03) and Formwork Erector & Striker (-04).
New documentation is dated March 2018.

Our NVQs in Formwork are usually completed in the workplace, and demonstrate competency against the National Occupational Standards.
The Level 2 Formwork NVQ is for learners who wish to specialise in the discipline of formwork and joinery.
Available to deliver in the following:

  • Northern Ireland

Level 2

This qualification demonstrates competence against the National Occupational Standards for Formwork.

At Level 2 you will already have developed some skills in formworking, carpentry and/or joinery, and you will gain additional knowledge and techniques required to work as a competent formworker.
