Our history in the region
For 120 years, City & Guilds has been offering qualifications throughout South Asia through businesses and centres.
In 1890, City & Guilds opened its first office in Sri Lanka, focusing on six main qualifications: Construction, Transport, Engineering, Telecommunications, Hospitality and Hair & Beauty.
Today, we have expanded to Pakistan and Bangladesh where we have structured our training to enable learners to gain their first job and are a global hub for labour migration, particularly to the Middle East.
