These qualifications have been specifically designed to support the role of the Independent Advocate.
The Level 2 Award is ideal for anyone wanting to acquire knowledge of Independent Advocacy. They might want to approach this qualification as an entry to the area or understand the basic principles of Independent Advocacy if their current job role requires them to have an awareness of Independent Advocacy.
The Level 3 Certificate and Diploma are for learners who are currently working as Independent Advocates, either on paid or voluntary basis.

General Information

What Is Involved In Studying This Course?

The Level 2 Award is made up by one knowledge unit. Learners are required to complete an assignment.
The Level 3 Certificate and Diploma  require candidates to complete the mandatory units plus some of the optional units. These qualifications are assessed by a Portfolio of Evidence. Full rules of combination are specified in the qualification Handbooks.

What Is Involved With Delivering This Course?

You will need qualified tutors and assessors to deliver these qualifications. For more information please see the qualification Handbook. Providers currently approved to offer 7566 Independent Advocacy will be automatically approved to offer the new qualifications.

The Level 2 Award is ideal if you are new to the area of Independent Advocacy.
