This qualification is designed to train and assess practicing electricians in Ireland on the methods and procedures of inspecting and testing electrical installations to meet the requirements of the Irish regulator, the Commission for Energy Regulation, including Certification and reporting.

It will show your customers that you are are up to date with national requirements for the industry.

This certificate is for practicing electricians working within the electrical industry in Ireland. 
Aside from meeting regulatory requirement you may also want to continue your professional development or update your knowledge of electrical testing and verification techniques and legislation.

What Is Involved In Studying This Course?
Candidates are expected to have a good working knowledge of Ireland's National Rules for Electrical Installations (current edition). The course is intended to enhance skills of practicing electricians to enable them to meet regulators standards for inspecting, testing, certificating and reporting on the condition of electrical installations.

- The inspection and test process required for Initial Verification of new electrical installation work
- The inspection and testing process for Periodic Inspections
- Correct methods of completing documentation to regulators standards
- Safe and correct use of test instruments
- Industry specified methods of testing electrical installations- Meeting the requirements of National Rules for Electrical Installations (current edition)
