This qualification will enable you to learn, develop and practise the essential skills needed to work as a parking enforcement officer (Level 2) or Notice Processor (Level 3).
 It recognises your professional ability and will help you to progress in your career.
These qualifications have been developed specifically for those working, or wishing to work, as Parking Enforcement Officers or Notice Processors in the Parking Sector.

What Is Involved In Studying This Course?

You can choose the units that demonstrate the specialist knowledge and skills you have developed, such as:
Level 2
•Traffic management legislation
•Job role and responsibilities
•Conflict management.
•CCTV use

Level 3
•Notice processing and information management in parking enforcement 
•Process penalty charge notices and respond appropriately to challenges, representation and appeals
•Notice processing requirements for parking enforcement on private land
•Customer service in the parking industry (3 credits)

You will learn on the job in the work environment. You will complete multiple-choice examinations or Short answer question papers

These qualifications allow learners to learn, develop and practise the skills required for employment and/or career progression in the Parking Sector.

What Is Involved With Delivering This Course?
To deliver these qualifications you will need qualified assessors - you can train internal members of staff or recruit specially.
You will need suitably qualified staff to carry out training and assessment.
You will also need suitable facilities to carry out the required training to enable learners to achieve industry standards.

Level 2

Level 2 is ideal if you are working, or looking to work, in the parking sector and have some relevant knowledge and skills, usually from a role where you've been supervised.

This qualification comprises one mandatory and four optional units:

•Principles of Conflict management in parking enforcement.

Optional
•Roles and responsibilities of civil enforcement officers
•Roles and responsibilities of parking enforcement officers carrying out parking control and enforcement on private land
•Roles and responsibilities of CCTV enforcement officers operating under traffic management legislation
•Customer service in the parking industry
