You will receive a response, to the email address provided in the form, within 10 working days, confirming your request has been received and next steps.
Next steps will typically be:
- Confirmation that we can add the qualification(s) to QiW provided we can obtain a Letter of Support from an employer based in Wales or/and from a professional body/ workforce regulator who operate in Wales confirming the suitability of the qualification(s) for the sector.
- Confirmation that the qualification(s) have been submitted to QiW and are now eligible for funding in Wales.
OR
- Confirmation that your request has not been accepted and the reason(s) why i.e. very low demand for the qualification(s) in Wales, lack of industry support for the qualification(s) in Wales, eminent qualification closure.
We will always tell you the reason why a request may not be accepted by City & Guilds or Qualifications Wales, and we will also keep you informed of progress of the submission of your requested qualifications.
