Skills for every sector - Support for every step

As part of Skills England apprenticeship reform, City & Guilds is evolving its apprenticeship assessment service to better support providers, employers, and apprentices in delivering high-quality, proportionate assessments.

A streamlined, flexible assessment service

We will be streamlining our assessments to make them more manageable by reducing the assessment burden - this means you get to focus more on great delivery for your learners.

Based on the feedback from our customers and employers we are building on the best of what has made us the largest end-point assessment organisation in England to bring you a new and even better service.

Getting ready to deliver internal assessment

With a new focus on evidencing occupational competence rather than every skill, providers may need to adapt apprenticeship delivery and include internal assessment.

From projects and observations to professional discussions, a broader range of assessment methods may be needed. Now’s the time to review your approach, consider upskilling your teams, and ensure you're ready to deliver Skills England’s apprenticeship Standards and new assessment plans.
