Masonry (6715)

Last Updated: 22 Mar 2024
Masonry is a construction trade that typically refers to the assembly of structures from individual units, from materials such as stone, marble and other local materials. Our Masonry qualifications are distinguished from our Bricklaying qualifications, in that candidates will learn tailored and specialised techniques in each of these areas.

Stone Masonry particularly refers to the construction of structures and building using stone as a medium. Craft Masonry is more similar to Bricklaying, however candidates will also learn elements of plastering and roofing that are not contained within the Bricklaying qualifications.

Our Craft Masonry qualifications are now live on our systems, whereas our Stone Masonry qualifications will be live on our systems in September 2014.
These qualifications are aimed at learners seeking a career in specialised Masonry trades within the Construction industry.

We have produced sample tests to enable tutors and learners to experience the look and feel of e-volve prior to sitting the test, and also experience the type and style of question that will be asked in the test.

You can access the sample tests by clicking on the links below.

The sample tests cover the following units:

Available to deliver in the following:
