It covers all the essential skills and knowledge needed to ensure that goods reach their destinations safely and efficiently, such as: supervising the receipt, storage or dispatch of goods, ensuring smooth international road transport operations and responding to problems in logistics operations.

What Is Involved In Studying This Course?

The Certificate in Logistics Operations includes units covering day -to-day skills and knowledge, and personal and career development including:

  • Improving performance
  • Providing team leadership.

You will learn on the job in the work environment.

Assessment will also take place in the workplace and will include a portfolio of evidence to meet the criteria of the qualification.

This level is ideal if you work in logistics operations and have a great deal of technical skills and knowledge. You work with minimum supervision and have a good record of safety, fault correction and meeting required standards. You hope to progress into first-line management.
