This qualification supports the Gateway knowledge and understanding for the Advanced Carpentry and Joinery apprenticeship in order to support learners progress in the field.

If your centre is approved to offer the 9079-21 then you can apply for fast track approval for the new 6581-30 using the fast track approval form, available from the City & Guilds website.
