New diplomas for Adult Care – help us shape our new qualifications

We have recently been working with industry stakeholders on the development of two new exciting diplomas at Level 3 (Diploma in Adult Care) and Level 5 (Diploma in Leadership and Management in Adult Care) in England.

We are aiming to build the qualifications and launch them in 2022.

We are building these in response to industry feedback on the skills that learners and employers need in the Adult Care sector. The diplomas will contain mandatory content developed by Skills for Care.

We have valued your input and insights throughout our development process and delighted to share the results of that work at a series of launch events in March and April, facilitated by our Technical Adviser Suzi Gray, and our Industry Manager Geraldine Donworth.
