What Is Involved In Studying This Course?

The Certificate in Logistics Operations includes units covering day -to-day skills and knowledge, and personal and career development including:

Health, safety and security
Improving performance
Providing team leadership.

You will learn on the job in the work environment.

Assessment will also take place in the workplace and will include a portfolio of evidence to meet the criteria of the qualification.

Which level is right for me?

Level 2
You work in logistics operations and have some skills and knowledge. You will work as part of a team covering duties such as picking & packing goods, monitor vehicle movements or identify suitable collection and delivery points.

Level 3
You are working in logistics operations and have a great deal of technical skills and knowledge. You work with minimum supervision and have a good record of safety, fault correction and ensuring work meets the required standard. You hope to progress into first-line management.

What Is Involved With Delivering This Course?

To deliver these qualifications you will need suitably qualified staff to carry out training and assessment.

You will also need suitable facilities to carry out the required training to enable learners to achieve industry standards.

Centres currently offering the City & Guilds NVQ Level 3 in Logistics Operations (3292) are automatically approved to offer this qualification. For all other centres, please download and complete the qualification approval form and send it to your local City & Guilds office.
