New centres

If you’re a college or a private training provider looking to become a City & Guilds centre, (or if you have already submitted an application) please get in touch via our Customer Application Form. 

Become an approved centre

Once you've filled out the form, you’ll be contacted by us. We will then guide you through the process of becoming a centre and you could be up and running in as little as 30 days, subject to the timely supply of all necessary information and the centre being able to accommodate an EQA visit within the time period.

EPA only customers

If you are a new customer and want to use our EPA only service, where there's no qualification attached to the standard, you will need to read our Manual for the End-Point Assessment Service and complete our EPA only customer application form.

Becoming one of these customers means you will be able to purchase EPA only products using our secure online area. It does not mean you are applying to become a City & Guilds centre and you will not be approved to deliver City & Guilds qualifications.

Existing centres

If you are an existing City & Guilds centre looking to offer more qualifications you will need to submit a Qualification Approval (QAP) Form within the Walled Garden Quality Portal. Once this has been submitted we’ll be in touch to arrange approval. Please note that it can take up to 30 working days to complete this process. If you would like to discuss your Qualification Approval in more detail, please contact your Business Manager of relevant sales executive. You can also complete our Customer Application.

Depending on the qualification you’re applying for, our Quality team may arrange an External Quality Assurer (EQA) approval visit. The EQA is there to check you meet our requirements and to support you with your approval application.
