Accessing practice confirmatory tests
We are aware that centres have not been able to access practice tests through our qualification pages following the removal of Flash at the end of last year.  It is still possible to access and complete practice tests in this way, but an application – SurpassViewer - needs to be downloaded and installed by users.
- Instructions on how to install the SurpassViewer can be found here
- Information and instructions on how to download SurpassViewer can be found here
Please ensure you download and install the Windows version as e-volve is not supported on Mac Operating systems.

If you require further support, please contact centresupport@cityandguilds.com, and we will be happy to help you.

Overview of planned adaptations for Essential Skills qualifications in Wales for 2020/21
We have worked closely with Qualifications Wales and Awarding Bodies offering Essential Skills Wales qualifications to develop guidance to support the delivery of adaptations and flexibilities, where required, in the delivery of Essential Skills Wales qualifications assessments.

Please see the joint agreement, setting out a range of permitted flexibilities and adaptations, published by the Asset Management Group (AMG), the collaborative working group of all Awarding Bodies who offer Essential Skills Wales qualifications (City & Guilds, Pearson, WJEC and Agored Cymru) here.

To support the delivery of the permitted flexibilities and adaptations the AMG has developed more detailed guidance available from the link below.
