Continuing Professional Development (CPD)
Our Continuing Professional Development are paid for events, crafted to support tutors in their delivery and offer a Digital Credential to contribute towards their CPD. These interactive online sessions will be held on Teams, lasting approximately 120 minutes, are designed to enhance your learning experience and professional growth.

Understanding Barriers and Creating Inclusive Learning Environments for ESOL learners on English and Maths Courses
This event aims to equip tutors and assessors with the understanding and tools necessary to effectively support learners with English as another language on Maths and English courses. The sessions will last approximately 120 minutes and will explore common barriers faced by these learners and introduce practical strategies to overcome these challenges.
The aim is to foster an inclusive learning environment and enhance the educational experience for all learners, regardless of their language background.
This interactive session will include engaging activities designed for active participation.

Practical Embedding: Integrating Maths and English Skills in Vocational Courses
This event is aimed at vocational tutors, to build confidence and skills in embedding maths and English skills development into their vocational courses.
We will explore the key differences between embedding and contextualisation, highlighting their importance in enhancing learning outcomes. We'll examine common barriers faced by both tutors and learners, explore practical strategies to overcome these challenges, and identify or explore embedding and contextualisation within your specific vocational areas.
This interactive session will include engaging activities designed for active participation.
