As part of Skills England apprenticeship reform, City & Guilds is evolving its apprenticeship assessment service to better support providers, employers, and apprentices in delivering high-quality, proportionate assessments.
We will be streamlining our assessments to make them more manageable by reducing the assessment burden - this means you get to focus more on great delivery for your learners.

Our new apprenticeship assessment service is designed to provide solutions and personalised support to providers and employers delivering our standards.
We are exploring quality and administration processes, so that the majority of existing customers can enjoy the ease of our express approval.
Once approved, if you are new to City & Guilds, a Digital Solution Manager will reach out to support your on-boarding and use of EPA Pro to get you set up and familiar with the platform.
The training provider registers the apprentice for their programme.
The training provider books an assessment in EPA Pro, or Walled Garden for an online assessment, and uploads internal assessment results to EPA Pro.
City & Guilds will quality assure centre assessed components through verification activity to validate results.
Training provider confirms in EPA Pro that the minimum duration and KSBs are met. City & Guilds check and validate.
The Department for Education issue the apprenticeship certificate.
During your apprenticeship delivery, you will have access to sector specialist Technical Advisors, and apprenticeship specialist Partnership Managers, to make every step of your apprenticeship journey with City & Guilds is as easy as it can be.
As well as our teams, webinars will be available to support your delivery and assessment, along with apprenticeship handbooks and exemplars - plus digital learning resources, for teaching and learning support.
