These qualifications were developed in partnership with AMSPAR (The Association of Medical Secretaries, Practice Managers, Administrators and Receptionists). They will prepare the learner to work in the field of medical administration learning skills in medical terminology and data protection.

These qualifications can help you can start or develop your career as a medical administrator or secretary, providing vital support for doctors and other healthcare professionals.

A medical administration qualification is ideal if you're interested in a career in administration.  Level 2 is intended for learners who have no previous knowledge of the subject, and who wish to get a grounding in the correct construction, recognition and usage of medical terminology.  Level 3 allows learners to build on and further develop their existing skills.

You'll learn either in a group environment with a training provider or through training in your workplace.

What Careers Can This Lead To?

A medical administration qualification can help you jump-start a career as an administrator in a hospital or receptionist in a GP's surgery or as a consultant's secretary.

What Is Involved With Delivering This Course?

Anyone can take this qualification, but you must make sure all your learners have the potential and opportunity to complete it.

Learners will be assessed by dated entry written test.
