24+ Advanced Learning Loans now available

Learning loans now available for those aged 24 and over.

For the first time loans will be made available for those taking a further educational course similar to HE provision, i.e. when a student goes off to University.

The loans will only be applicable to those aged 24 and over taking a Level 3 or above course. This is quite a change for both learners and providers with evidence suggesting there is still a lack of understanding as to the consequences and requirements to deliver a successful Level 3 programme, yet the first loans are available from April 2013.

In response to this situation the agency and the Student Loan Company have produced many documents, therefore to make it easier of our centres we have produced a Loans Guide (PDF, 67kb)  which largely pulls all these documents together in one simple document.
