We have vacancies across our homes and would love to hear from those who have achieved the Step into Social Care badge and are interested in working in social care.

Whether you have a little previous experience or none at all, as long as you have the right attitude and commitment to caring for our residents, we want to hear from you.

To confirm your interest, all you need to do is to complete and submit a short Interest Form. We will then contact you if there are any opportunities which may be suitable for you.

And, if you are one of the first 10 to complete the Interest Form, you will be invited for a conversation with us to discuss your interest in working in the sector. After the conversation, you will receive feedback and advice on how you can prepare for a career in social care.

  2. Go to Greensleeves Care's website and download the Interest Form
  3. Complete and submit the Interest Form to by 1 March 2021.

If you’re over 16 and live in Liverpool, get in touch with us for free one-to-one support to help you find work in social care.

You will then get access to a range of services including coaching and CV writing to get you ‘job ready’.

Prince's Trust

Aged between 16-30? Interested in working in social care?

princes trust logoWe, at The Prince’s Trust, offer free mentoring for young people in England who are interested in working in social care.

We will team you up with an experienced health and social care mentor who will help you explore what jobs may be suitable for you and provide support with writing your CV and preparing for interviews.

If you find a job, your mentor will stay in touch with you to help you settle into your new role, navigate the first few months and understand potential career paths.

We work with the country’s leading employers including NHS Trusts, Cambian, Active Care, Achieve Together and Maria Mallaband, so we are very well placed to help you get started in social care.

WeCare Wales

The WeCare Wales jobs portal is a dedicated jobs portal for roles in social care, early years and childcare in Wales. 

Once you’ve signed up to our jobs portal, you will be kept updated with care roles in your area – whatever your level of experience.

The portal offers a national resource that helps you improve your employability. It features an assessment section where you can watch videos of different roles in care and answer questions about how you would deal with the situations that arise. This gives you a first-hand opportunity to see if the job is right for you.

Once complete, you will be given a document that can be shown to employers to help you stand out against other applicants.
