Adult and child care – preparing apprentices for EPA success
Adult care and child care together form the second largest sector in the country. In 2018 there were a total of 1.62 million jobs in adult care alone, with research showing that the quality of early education and care for pre-school children is higher when practice is led by specially trained graduates. The care sector is also set to be the fastest growing sector from 2016-2024, with our projections showing an expected increase of more than 223,000 jobs.*
