6014 will close for registration on 31 August 2026.  Alternative provision is the City & Guilds Level 3 Diploma in Gas Engineering (9074-03). 
These Diplomas have been designed for the Gas installation industry. Completion will enable learners to apply for Gas Safe Registration and work in the UK, Isle of Man and Guernsey.

Level 3

Level 3 is ideal if you are an experienced gas engineer and require a licence to practise to join the Gas Safe Register in order to work as a gas engineer in the UK, Isle of Man and Guernsey. It comprises of the following mandatory units: Understanding health and safety in gas utilisation Understanding scientific principles in gas utilisation Understanding combustion and properties of gas Understanding building services and structures Understanding gas safety.
