You can choose the qualification that includes the specialist knowledge and skills you have developed, such as:
- Locate and avoid supply apparatus
- excavating holes and trenches in ground and pavement structures
- operating powered tools
- electrofusion and butt fusion welding
- assembling components to meet specifications for network construction operations.
You will learn mainly on the job in the work environment.
Assessment will also take place in the workplace and will include practical tasks and oral questioning.
Which level is right for me?
Level 1 - You are working under supervision and possibly just starting out in, or are very new to, network construction.
Level 2 - You are working in network construction and have developed some knowledge and skills, usually from a role where you've been supervised.
